American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Held annually at the Oxford High School Stadium
Relay For Life is a 24-hour team event to raise money for cancer research, education, and services. RFL combines the best elements of a camp-out, block party, and walk-a-thon. Teams of 8-15 people set up campsite and take turns walking the track relay style to raise money and demonstrate their commitment to the fight against cancer.

have come together to form the Oxford Area Vision Project.
(The Oxford school district includes East Nottingham Twp,

The “OAVP” has been established to host an exchange
team of international professionals who brought an objective
perspective to the Oxford area. The “exchange team”
spent one week observing our community. The team presented
its observations to the community in a public meeting. This
is a unique opportunity for the whole community to come together
to “find common ground” within the borough and

The official institution representing the national, state and county Democratic Party in the region, the Ox-Grove Democrats embrace the Democratic voters in the fifteen precincts that constitute Zone 5 of the county Democratic organization. Upper Chesapeake Community Band
Upper Chesapeake Community Band is an all ages / all volunteer concert and marching band meeting on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 at St. Agnus Catholic Church on Queen Street in Rising Sun, MD. Some members just march, some just do concerts, and many do both.
We have several members from the Oxford and Nottingham areas. We are looking for new members for all instruments, but some particular needs at the moment are: 1st flute, oboe, 3rd clarinet, French horn, Baritone , Tuba, and Percussion.
